Clifford the Big Red Dog is this week's Pet of the Week

Clifford The Big Red Dog came to Kritter Kamp Rescue quite by accident! We answered a plea from the Kern County Animal Shelter to help save a large group of small, female Chihuahuas who were all slated for euthanasia. We agreed to take five of them, which was five more than we needed or had room for, but we couldn't say no. 

When the transport arrived, out jumped Clifford! He was neither small nor female. Not even sure he has any Chi in him, but he certainly is handsome and a great dog overall! Clifford is a little over a year old and 18 to 20 pounds. He gets along with some dogs, females mostly, and like his literary namesake, loves kids! This boy has an extra cute face and intelligent, beautiful eyes!
