Freeze Frame: Got renewable?

Oh yes, Elk Grove does have renewable energy, and lots of it.  Much to my surprise—and less than 1/4 mile from the rural setting of my first photo—I found acres and acres of solar panels. Gone were the dairy farms. I was sad, and happy at the same time.

Moving to renewable energy is a smart move for the environment and for investors.  I have had solar panels to warm my pool for many years, and love them. How do you feel about "our" renewable energy? Do you get it?
