Why Adele rocks my world
The pop star started off as merely a high-schooler with a dream.

"We could've had it all..." Adele sings in her hit, "Rolling in the Deep."
These days, however, it seems Adele does have it all. At the 2012 Grammys, she took home six awards—more than most singers could ever hope to achieve during their entire lifetime.
In addition to her recent success at the Grammys, Adele's songs, like "Someone Like You," have been topping the charts—over five million copies of her most recent album, 21, have been sold. Played on nearly every pop radio station, her songs are practically everywhere.

But this success didn't happen overnight. She started off as merely a high-schooler with a dream. She's stated, "As soon as I got a microphone in my hand, when I was about 14, I realized I wanted to do this."
Adele's had her fair share of struggles, too. After having numerous problems with her voice, she had vocal surgery, which meant that she had to cancel a few tour dates.

Overall, what I find most inspirational about Adele is that she had a dream, worked hard, and ultimately had great success. In my opinion, Adele's success story shows that anyone can achieve anything—provided they're willing to work hard for it.
