Businesses Offer Free Meals, Discounts to Veterans
Applebee's, Chili's and more are celebrating Veterans Day with special deals.

While Elk Grove will honor military veterans with a parade Friday, many businesses are marking the occasion as well.
The Military Wallet website has posted a list of national store and restaurant chains that offer special Veterans Day discounts to veterans and service members.
Since Elk Grove is a smorgasbord of chains, many of these deals are available right here in town. Be sure to bring your military ID or veterans organization card with you, as most require proof of military service.
