Connections Academy,
a tuition-free K-12 virtual public school, will host a free party at Elk Grove
Regional Park (Picnic Site 6A) in Elk Grove for families interested in learning
about its online program and individualized approach to
education.
The
party will provide prospective families with an opportunity to meet with California
Connections Academy teachers and current student families, learn more
about the school’s program and curriculum,
and about the enrollment process. Families interested in virtual education can
also learn how teachers interact with students in the virtual environment;
about Connections Academy’s personalized learning opportunities; college
preparation; socialization;
the role of the parent
or other Learning Coach; and the use of technology.
