On Sunday, September 11th, about 7:30 in the morning a truck flipped over on Emerald Vista near Lujan. The driver was taken to hospital, there were no fatalities.
An unidentified man was speeding down Emerald Vista Drive when he hit a truck that was parked in the driveway of a neighbor and then flipped his truck on it's' side. The pictures sort of say it all. Hopefully there was a lesson learned here, don't speed in residential areas! If not, maybe next time. If there is a next time.
Thanks to the Elk Grove Police Department, Consumnes Fire Department and other local first responders' the scene was cleaned up in about thirty minutes and the taken away in a flat-bed tow truck.
