City Of Elk Grove: Traffic Advisory: High School Band Invitational This Saturday

High school marching bands from throughout northern California will converge on Elk Grove streets and school sites this Saturday, October 9 to compete in the Franklin High School Invitational Band Review. To accommodate the event, road closures and alternative routes around the event will be in place between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly.

Street Closures for Saturday, October 9:

• Franklin High Road between Whitelock Parkway and Coop Drive will be closed.
• McLean Drive, Jefjen Way, and Clairina Way will be closed at their intersection with Franklin High Road

Alternative Routes: Whitelock Parkway will remain open for motorists travelling east and westbound during the event. The Franklin High School Invitational Band Review is the primary fundraising event for the Franklin High School band program. The City of Elk Grove is among the major event sponsors.
