City to Provide Info to Residential Landlords

Event set for Tuesday at Elk Grove City Hall, designed for current and prospective landlords.

Landlords or people thinking about purchasing a rental property in Elk Grove will be able to have their questions answered at an informational workshop Tuesday.

The meeting, scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday in the City Council Chambers, will cover the legal ins and outs of renting a property. The council chambers are located at city hall, 8400 Laguna Palms Way.

The City of Elk Grove’s code enforcement and police departments are hosting an informative presentation to landlords of residential properties on Tuesday, July 17. Whether you’re a full-time landlord or just getting ready to purchase your first rental property, the session will cover helpful and timely topics including recent changes to state laws, legal requirements on tenant interactions, and an opportunity to get valuable reference materials. The workshop, held in cooperation with the Sacramento Valley Rental Housing Association, will be held in the Council Chambers from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
