Confused about the new common core?

  1. Looking to be an informed parent?

    Sheldon High School is putting on a
    series of Parent Seminars which will be held at Sheldon High School during the
    month of April. This is a great opportunity for parents to stay informed on a
    variety of topics.

    The first topic will be “Helping your Child Succeed
    at School with the new Common Core.”
    This seminar will be aimed at parents
    of junior high and high school students. Teachers from Social Science, Math,
    Science, and English will discuss the new Common Core and how the new curriculum
    will change in their subject matter. They will also provide examples of how the
    state tests will change to align to the new curriculum.

    March 31st from 6:00pm –
    7:30pm

    You do NOT need to be part of the Sheldon
    Community to attend, anyone is welcome.

    Daycare will be
    provided

    We are also offering the following seminars during April.
    Location for each seminar will be at Sheldon High School’s Library from 6:00pm –
    7:30pm.

    Presentation by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s
