COVID-19 Update: May 1, 2020

As a result of the most recent Sacramento County Public Health Order due to COVID-19, the following closures and guidelines are in place at Cosumnes CSD parks and recreation facilities.

OPENUsers must comply with Social Distancing Requirements as defined in the stay-at-home order, including not congregating in groups and maintaining at least six feet of distance from others.

  • Parks and trails for passive recreation, alone or with members of the same household unit
  • Athletic fields for non-contact sports or recreational activities, with members of the same household unit
  • Tennis and pickleball courts
  • Emerald Lakes Golf Course and driving range
  • Disc golf at Elk Grove Park
  • Fishing at Elk Grove Park
  • Dog parks

CLOSEDClosures are in effect through May 22, at which time they will be reassessed.

  • Basketball courts
  • Athletic fields for contact sports, structured or organized practices, games, trainings, coaching, or team sports
  • Picnic shelters
  • Playgrounds and play equipment
  • Outdoor fitness equipment
  • Water play features and spraygrounds
  • Skate parks
  • Bike Park at Elk Grove Park

While Elk Grove Park will be closed to vehicular access on weekends, the park is open.

The following District facilities will remain closed to the public until further notice:

  • Wackford Community & Aquatic Complex
  • Cosumnes CSD Administration Building
  • Elk Grove Aquatics Center
  • Laguna Town Hall
  • Cosumnes Fire Department Headquarters
  • Cosumnes Fire Stations
