Annual Girls Night Out Event

Makeup, shopping, big hair, and a
chocolate fountain will all be under one roof as the Cosumnes CSD hosts its 6th
annual Girls Night Out.  Mark your calendar and join us Friday, March 14 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the Wackford Community Complex (9014 Bruceville Road)
in Elk Grove for an evening of fun with your favorite gals!

 Bring
your friends, daughters, mother, grandmother or even your mother-in-law for a
night of girlish delights.  More than
forty local businesses will be on site offering activities, products,
pampering, and giveaways.  The “Big Hair
Affair” contest will put stylists and cosmetology students in a battle
celebrating art, glamour and BIG Hair. 
Winners will receive bragging rights, cash prize as well as a
commemorative trophy.

Pre-registration
is encouraged. Cost to attend is $10 per person in advance or $12 at the
door.  This event is suitable for girls
ages 6 to 106.  Registration is available

As
part of Girls Night Out the CSD is proud to partner with “Chicks in Crisis” to
host a prom dress and accessory drive benefiting high school girls in the Elk
Grove community. We are seeking donations of new and gently used prom dresses
and accessories (formal shoes, purses, and jewelry) for juniors and seniors who
might otherwise be able to afford a prom dress. 
All donations need to be less
than 5 years old and in excellent condition. 
The dresses will be collected at the Wackford Community and
Aquatic Complex and at the Parks
Administration Building.
Feel free to donate multiple dresses as there is a great need in our community.
Donations
will be accepted at Girls Night Out if attending, or during CSD business hours
until March 14th.

Donations will be
distributed free to young girls with the help of “Chick in Crisis”.  If you or someone you know could benefit
