Early-Bird Holiday Shopping Roundup
In some corners of Elk Grove, 'tis already the season for holiday bazaars and letters to Santa.

We know, we know…it’s not even Thanksgiving yet.
But we also know that some Elk Grovians like to get an early jump on their holiday shopping. And as your friendly local journalists, we feel obliged to tell you that there are a few opportunities this weekend to do so—while supporting local businesses and non-profits.
So put on your (totally secular and non-denominational) Santa hats and go ahead and check a few people off your list. Click on event titles for details.

3. . But Mom, I thought Santa wrote his own letters. Not this one, honey. But it will be mailed in time to arrive before Christmas. Mom, why do we have to pay $5 for the letter? To support recreation program scholarships for low-income kids and adults—gifts that keep on giving.
4. . Get yourself a pedicure for $15, or $4 off a basic manicure. Because even Santa needs a little pampering sometimes.
