Elk Grove Police Seeking Those Responsible For Burning Dog

The sweet dog was found in December with burns over 50 percent of her body, authorities said.

From the Elk Grove Police Department:

On Sunday, December 21, 2014 the Elk Grove Police Department’s Animal Control Unit responded to the area of Elk Grove Florin Rd and Elk Grove Blvd regarding a contained stray dog.

The dog, a two-year-old female Terrier mix, was found to have been severely burned over 50% of her body.

Her infected wounds will require extensive treatment and care. Despite this horrific event, this little girl is very loving and kind to all her caregivers.
