Boots-n-Blues at the Old Sugar Mill:

An afternoon of music, food and wine to benefit a very special cause

Featuring live music from the Flip Side Band, The Crawdads and Steve Gatz & His Blues Band

A lively but relaxing afternoon is in store for guests, with a delicious barbecue lunch, live music from local bands and wine tasting at the beautiful Old Sugar Mill. The Old Sugar Mill is home to a unique community of six California wineries and their signature wines: Todd Taylor Wines, Three Wine Company, Heringer Estates, Elevation Ten, Rendez-vous Winery, Merlo Family Vineyards, Clarksburg Wine Company, and the Carvalho Family Wines. The wineries at the Old Sugar Mill, in Clarksburg, California (eight minutes south of Sacramento), are a bridge to the rich agricultural heritage of the region, whose vineyards are staking their claim alongside the great wine growing regions of the world.

Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Project R.I.D.E. Inc. Since 1979, Project R.I.D.E. Inc has provided recreational therapeutic horseback riding instruction to people with special needs. Over 540 riders benefit from this program, which aims to teach academic and life skills in the context of horseback riding. Located in Elk Grove, this program serves students from the greater Sacramento area with the support of dedicated volunteers, PATH Int’l Certified Riding Instructors and specially trained equines.

Ticket price includes barbecue lunch from Red Oak Barbecue, live music all afternoon and unlimited wine tasting from two of the wineries at The Old Sugar Mill.
