Nissan of Elk Grove is hosting their second Green Day at the Grove event promoting alternative energy solutions.
The event will be held at Nissan of Elk Grove in the Elk Grove Automall: 8590 Laguna Grove Drive on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 10am until 2pm. This event is free and open to the public.
Elk Grove Mayor, Gary Davis will be present to unveil Northern California's only Fast Charging Station during the "Cut the Gas Pump Ceremony" at noon.
Guests will be invited to view all-electric vehicles featuring the Nissan LEAF and others as well as participate in the following:
• Free E-waste collection
• Free document shredding
• Solar Energy display
• Electric bike shop demonstration rides
• Live music feed
• Jump-house for children
• Hot dogs and chips for the first 500 guests
