Merryhill School in Elk Grove on Harbour Point Drive will host an Open House on May 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. The Open House will be an opportunity for families to meet with the school principal and teachers, explore classrooms and learn about Merryhill’s signature Links to Learning curriculum. Links to Learning is a preschool-specific curriculum with monthly developmental skill summaries for children that enlist the help of parents to reinforce what’s being learned at school. During the event, teachers and current Merryhill families will showcase various aspects of the curriculum, including activities to highlight the school’s emphasis on music. Light refreshments and free activities for children will be available. The local community is welcome to attend.
