Propel Fuels Diesel Days

On Thursday, May 9th and Friday May 10th, Propel Fuels (www.propelfuels.com), a leading retailer of renewable fuels and clean mobility solutions, is launching “Propel Diesel Days” – a special event designed to encourage local drivers to experience filling with biodiesel – a clean, quality certified, renewable fuel.  During Propel Diesel Days, Propel will provide free biodiesel ($10 for consumers and up to $50 worth for fleets) at the Propel station located at 9190 E Stockton Blvd in Elk Grove.


WHO:                    Propel Fuels Diesel Days team, local consumers with diesel vehicles, local commercial fleets with diesel cars, trucks, vans.


WHAT:                  Diesel Days event to promote the awareness and use of biodiesel – a competitively priced, clean, American made renewable fuel. Made from locally sourced, sustainable resources such as waste vegetable or soybean oils, biodiesel improves both engine performance and the health of our environment. Propel’s biodiesel:

·       Is compatible with existing diesel vehicles and may be used interchangeably with petroleum diesel

·       Produces cleaner emissions, reducing CO2 and other toxins


·       Increases fuel lubricity and cetane for longer engine life and easier engine starting


·       Is available in blends from B5 (5% biodiesel) to B99 (99.9% biodiesel) depending on location

WHY:                    More than ever, consumers and businesses want more access to renewable fuels and to have a better choice at the pump. In response Propel is launching a series of Diesel Days across their network of more than 35 stations in  California and Washington State to increase awareness of the benefits of biodiesel and to encourage drivers who have diesel vehicles to try biodiesel for the first time. By providing local drivers a better choice at the pump, Propel is helping make progress toward our nation’s clean energy goals.
