Soccer for the Cure

A 24 hour soccer game to raise money for Susan G Komen for the Cure.

This year I lost my mom to breast cancer. She had been fighting it since 1993. My mom was the president of my youth soccer league growing up. This is my way of honoring her memory.

The 1st Annual Soccer for the Cure is on August 5 and 6. Soccer for the Cure is a 24 hour nonstop soccer game. This year's event will be at Joseph Sims Elementary serves as a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen For the Cure. The concept is simple: to have a continuous soccer game for at least 24 hours. The game will begin in the evening of August 5 and run non-stop through the night to August 6. We are going to try to set a world record!!
