WATERCOLOR COLLAGE WORKSHOP

WATERCOLOR COLLAGE WORKSHOP, with Dick Beymer, Saturday, October 27, 1PM – 3:30PM, Fee:  $40  (Materials Fee $5 paid to instructor day of class).  The objective of the workshop is to introduce artists to the use of a variety of hand made papers in the creation of an integrated collage watercolor composition. The workshop begins with a demonstration of the process with examples of the sequence of steps. The workshop is suitable for all levels of experience and ability. At the end of the session, a critique will be held.

 

About the Instructor:  Originally trained in Graphic Arts. The use of a variety of hand made papers from Asia provides the textural qualities prevalent in many of his paintings. Some works also incorporate pen & ink, Gouache or colored pencil.

His work has been in many local large and small group exhibitions, received several awards and is in many private collections. Solo shows include the Casa Garden, Iron Door Gallery in Murphys and the Artful Gatherings Gallery in Chicago. He is a member of Elk Grove Artists.
