The City of Elk Grove is privileged to have Kate Waldo and Michelle Himed, the co-owners of Worm Fancy, help teach this special workshop on Worm Composting. The workshop, which is sponsored by the City’s Waste and Recycling Division, is free to Elk Grove residents, but space is limited and reservations are required. Reservations can be made by calling 478-2209. All participants will go home with a free bag of worm castings, and two worm bins will be raffled off to the lucky winners at the workshop. Worm bins and worms will also be available for purchase from Worm Fancy. Kate and Michelle were recently featured in stories in the Sacramento Bee and also at Elk Grove Patch.
