Grade Leatherby's: How's the Ice Cream Parlor Doing?

Elk Grove's newest ice cream parlor has been drawing crowds since May, and this week held a grand opening ceremony.

Leatherby's Family Creamery, located at 8238 Laguna Blvd., held its grand opening ceremony Monday. The festivities drew three Elk Grove City Council Members, the city's economic development director and Rep. Dan Lungren (R-Gold River), according to Elk Grove News.

Not only is the store new, but almost all of its employees were inexperienced when they were hired, .

Of the 130 newly hired employees, only 10 had previous work experience. said that has created a problem at the restaurant, while another disagreed.
