July 23: Man Allegedly Drives Drunk Through Drive-Through

NIGHT WATCH

Time: 0203 hours

Charges: VC 23152(A), 11350(A)
Location: 9100 block of Elk Grove Florin Rd. 
Suspect: CRAVENS, RANDALL (WMA, 21, ARRESTED) 

Officers responded to the above location regarding an impaired driver operating a motor vehicle through a fast food drive-thru. Officers arrived and located S-1 (Redding resident) sitting in the driver’s seat of the described vehicle. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. A records check revealed that S-1 was on probation. A search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of narcotics. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

Location: 7400 block of Laguna Blvd. 
Victim: CHASE BANK
Suspect #1:RANSOM, KENDAL (BMA, 23, ARRESTED) 
Suspect #2:JOHNSON, STEPHANIE (BFA, 24 ARRESTED) 

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was detained after he attempted to cash a forged check that had been reported stolen. A records check revealed that S-1 was on parole. S-2 (Elk Grove resident) was located outside and detained. Officers determined that S-1 and S-2 had arrived at the location together. Officers also determined that S-2 had attempted to cash a second stolen/forged check at another bank in Sacramento 30 minutes earlier. S-1 and S-2 were arrested then transported to the main jail.

Location: 7600 block of Laguna Blvd. 
Victim: BUY BUY BABY
Suspect #1:PETTIS, LANITA (BFA, 28, ARRESTED) 
Suspect #2:MADISON, MARJORIE (BFA, 36, ARRESTED) 

Officers responded to the above location regarding two shoplifting suspects who had just left the store with stolen merchandise. Responding officers were provided with a description of the vehicle the suspects fled in. Officers located the described vehicle parked in a nearby residential neighborhood unoccupied. Merchandise from Buy Buy Baby was observed inside the vehicle. S-1 and S-2 (Sacramento residents) were located a short distance away and detained. Both suspects were identified by a witness as being responsible for the theft. Both suspects were arrested then transported to the main jail.

Location: 8900 block of Elk Grove Blvd. 
Victim: BANK OF AMERICA
Suspect: CALDERON, ROBERT (WMA, 45, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) attempted to cash a fraudulent check at the above location and presented his identification. S-1 fled before officers arrived. Officers were able to locate S-1 at his residence. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.
