July 25: Son Allegedly Steals Jewelry from Mom and Pawns it

Location: 9500 block of Laguna Springs Dr. 
Suspect: FOGLESONG, MARK (WMA, 59, ARRESTED) 

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was observed stumbling around in a parking lot by a parked vehicle. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and officers determined that S-1 had driven to this location in his vehicle. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. A records check revealed that S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. A records check revealed that S-1 had an active misdemeanor warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested then issued a misdemeanor citation with a new court date and released.

Victim: DELOSO, ANALYN (AFA, 43) 
Suspect: JUVENILE (AMA, 15, ARRESTED) 

V-1 discovered that her son, S-1 (Elk Grove resident), had stolen jewelry from her bedroom and pawned the items for U.S. currency. S-1 was taken into custody then transported to juvenile hall.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation, S-1 threw several items at V-1. S-1 also punched V-1 several times. V-1 suffered visible injuries. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted inside a vehicle after officers responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle. Upon contact, the strong odor of marijuana emanated from inside the vehicle. A search of vehicle led to the discovery of marijuana. S-1 was taken into custody then transported to juvenile hall.
