July 3: Description of Calvine Home-Invasion Suspects Released

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for public intoxication then transported to the main jail.

Victim: GERVAIS, STEVEN (WMA, 46)
Suspects: UNKNOWN (BMA’s)

V-1 and three other individuals (including a small child) were inside their residence when S-1 and S-2 used a ruse to gain access into the residence. Once inside the residence, a handgun was displayed and the suspects demanded property. At some point, V-1 and S-1 became involved in a struggle. During the struggle, V-1 was pistol whipped in the head and face by S-1. S-1 also fired several rounds inside the house. No one was injured. Two additional suspects (S-3 & S-4) gained access into the residence after entering the residence from the rear. The four suspects then exited the residence and fled in a blue four door vehicle with tinted rear windows. V-1 was transported to a local area hospital for medical treatment. No one else was injured. S-1 was described as a black male adult, 5’11”, 190 lbs in his 40’s. S-2 was described as a black male adult, 6’2” with a skinny build in his 20’s. S-3 was described as a black male adult, 6’ with a skinny build in his 40’s.

Suspect: MAYFIELD, STARLA (BFA, 35, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was detained regarding a theft. A records check revealed that S-1 had an active misdemeanor warrant out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested then issued a misdemeanor citation with a new court date and released.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. A records check revealed that S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.
