About the Workshop: The class is designed to help you feel comfortable painting outdoors. Plein Air Painting can be very intimidating; this class will give you the basics needed to enjoy the art of outdoor painting. Learn to produce studies for larger paintings, by using a limited palette of oil paints and being fully prepared. First part of the class will be spent on instruction and demo. Students will go outdoors, sketch, and then paint their scene with limited palette and two brush technique. No pressure, as the finished product is just a study. Sometimes those studies turn out pretty great. The goal of this class is to give you the tools to feel comfortable painting outdoors from life. It is a wonderful experience that many artists have yet to enjoy. It is also the foundation of great art, dating back many years. Beginner/Intermediate oil painters. CLASS SIZE: Min: 2 Max: 6
