Looking For Weekend Fun? Try Roseville's Inaugural Art Affaire on the Square

There will also be activities for the kids!

Roseville’s Vernon Street Town Square will teem with art and activity during the inaugural Art Affaire on the Square held Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27, 2015. Presented by the City of Roseville and Blue Line Arts, this Fine Arts and Crafts Festival will host 50 booths showcasing unique, handcrafted works including original paintings, jewelry, fiber arts, ceramics and more.

The event is free to the public and takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Enjoy a beer or glass of wine while strolling through the booths or listening to live music at the bandstand each day from noon-4pm. As part of the event, Blue Line Arts will also be providing a hands-on art project inspired by the great Post-Impressionist artist, Vincent Van Gogh. Kids are invited to stop by and create oversized sunflowers, just in time to celebrate the spring season.

Gila Sagy

Studio: Concord

Medium: Glass

Creative Process: “The many colors and textures of glass make fusing so fascinating for me. Nothing can replace the excitement of creating beautiful color combinations with glass. My creations, which range from photo holders, jewelry, wine bottle platters and more are all original, unique and one of a kind. Everything is made of glass pieces in multiple colors and textures and the process of firing in the kiln fuses all of the pieces together to become one, elegant creation.”
