Moms in Motion Fun Run Planned for Thursday

Elk Grove mothers will have a chance to get a little exercise and meet other like-minded residents this week.

Moms in Motion, an Elk Grove exercise group, will hold a fun run and walk at Elk Grove Regional Park at 6 p.m. Thursday. It will be followed by a 6:30 p.m. meet-and-greet and discussion of summer teams.

"It's 1.44 miles around the park path, [and] some will do the loop twice before we begin our meeting at 6:30," said in an email. "Very informal event as a kick off for our summer Moms in Motion season."
