New Features on Elk Grove Patch: Traffic, Gas Prices, Photo Gallery

We are constantly trying to make Elk Grove Patch as user-friendly as possible.

This week, our new features include a Traffic & Gas tab and Your Neighborhood Gallery. Here's a quick look at how they work:

Traffic & Gas:

Click on the Traffic & Gas tab in the navigation bar at the top of the site and you can consult a real-time traffic map complete with incident reports and construction notices. With this map, powered by Mapquest, you can also find the lowest gas prices in town.

Your Neighborhood Gallery:

Ready, set, upload! You can now upload random photos and videos straight to Patch without an article already existing on the topic.

A mob for eggnog at the grocery store? A gorgeous sunset? A group of preschoolers in Santa hats made the cutest carolers ever? Simply click the "Add to Neighborhood Gallery" button located near the top right of our home page, and upload.
