"I love meeting with the community and getting out there to find out what Elk Grove really wants for their city," Higley said, according to campaign staff. "I know that with the strong community that we already have here in Elk Grove we can become a premier destination for entertainment, shopping and businesses. I had a great time today at the Bartholomew Sports Park, seeing the kids play and the parents cheer for them; that's what Elk Grove is all about–community and family."
