Playing for Peace 2014

The parking lot of the Spiritual Center for Positive Living will be transformed into a unique Festival space! A professional stage will support talented musical acts throughout the day - Tamra Godey, Island of Black & White, Random Strangers and Ascension. A huge white tent will provide shade, and create a great community atmosphere as participants gather with lawn chairs to enjoy outstanding entertainment. Food booths - Retail booths - Yoga - Kids Area - Wine & Beer Garden will surround the stage in clear view of the entertainment and festivities for everyone’s enjoyment. Spiritual leaders of many paths will talk about peace in between the musical acts, as well as a Native American Peace Dance and Ceremony, as we honor International Peace Day! Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Pathways for Veterans nonprofit organization that helps Veterans find their way to a peaceful life of happiness. The Spiritual Center’s doors will be wide open, inviting people to explore the bookstore, cool down in the Bistro, and enjoy the SCPL vibe!
