Sacramento DUI Checkpoint Tonight
Breaking: Drivers are encouraged to designate a sober driver.

SACRAMENTO, CA — Police will hold a DUI/driver's license checkpoint in Sacramento on Friday night.
The sobriety checkpoint is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the area of Inn Road near Elder Creek Road, according to Sacramento police officials. The event will run for up to seven hours.
Police say officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment.

Drivers are encouraged to designate a driver or use alternative methods of transportation to get home. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reminds everyone to report suspected drunken driving by calling 911.
