Local attorney Jonathan Stein to honor his mother, Sheila, who passed away from the disease.
In the game, which will last through Saturday afternoon, each player gets a maximum of 2 hours on the field. With 95 volunteers, those waiting can play on the sidelines to warm up.

The event may or may not set a world record for the longest continuous soccer game. Stein says that when he contacted Guinness World Records about bringing out an official for verification, they asked for $4000 to cover travel expenses. Stein decided the money was better spent on breast cancer research.
"Mom is looking down on us today," Stein said.
