Spaghetti and Fun with Your Family for a Great Cause: Elk Grove's Project RIDE Holds Spaghetti Feed and Carnival
Project RIDE's Spaghetti Feed and Carnival is the most family-friendly fun you can have inside a horse barn.
Looking for a fun night out with the family? Put September 19th on your calendar for Project RIDE’s annual Spaghetti Feed and Carnival. Piles of pasta, carnival games inside horse stalls, live entertainment and prizes for everybody.
Doors open at 5pm with a no-host bar starting at 6 and dinner served family-style at 7. With endless salad, bread, pasta and dessert - you won’t go home hungry, that’s for sure.
For the kids: fun games, activities and a kids-only raffle bursting with toys, bikes, books and more. For the parents: the kids stay busy while you socialize, bid on fabulous finds in the silent auction and win baskets full of goodies in the raffle. For everybody - live entertainment including a very special talent and fashion show presented by TJ MAXX; martial arts demos; live music and dance performances and dj dancing after dinner.
Tickets only $15, (or just $5 for kids 4-12, kids 3 and under are FREE) you can support a great cause without breaking the bank. Note that all activities are suitable for all ages and abilities, and special accommodations are available upon request.
All proceeds go to Project RIDE’s 36-year-long program in Elk Grove providing therapeutic horseback riding instruction to people with special needs or disabilities. One of three very popular annual fundraiser events, this one has a long history in the Elk Grove Community and is named in honor of the memory of Project RIDE supporter and board member Carol Meador. This event is also a volunteer opportunity for teens and service groups, and the program accepts volunteers ages 14+ year-round for events and working directly in the program.
