TrailFest - Taste of the Central Valley

TrailFest - Taste of the Central Valley is a wine, beer and food tasting event to benefit Central Valley Rails to Trails and Project R.I.D.E

The 10th Annual TrailFest - Taste of the Central Valley will take place on Saturday, October 11, from 5pm - 9pm at Project R.I.D.E. in Elk Grove.

This is a tasting event featuring Lodi wines, locally brewed beer, and the best chefs and restaurants. There will also be coffee and mocktails for those who do not care to consume alcohol. Guest chefs from the Art Institute and Consumnes Oaks High School Culinary Academies will provide demonstrations along with the Food Literacy Center - and you can taste their creations!

Central Valley Rails to Trails Foundation (CVRTF) hosts this event, and proceeds will also benefit Project R.I.D.E.’s therapeutic equestrian program, based in Elk Grove. Learn more about CVRTF at www.cvrtf.org and about Project R.I.D.E. at www.projectride.org.

Live music will be provided by cowboy signer J Parson, and local artists will have their works on display - be ready to purchase some early gifts for the Holidays! There will be time for dancing and there are many items to bid on in Live and Silent auctions. Unique to this event is the Guess the Weight Contest, with a local Friesian Stallion on hand daring you to guess his weight - and win over $500 in cash!
