The California Milk Processor Board (CMPB) – the creator of GOT MILK? awards Valley High School $3,000 grand prize for increasing in-school breakfast consumption by over 12%.
Last month, seven high schools from the Elk Grove Unified School District went head to head in a unique and friendly three-week breakfast competition to see which campus could increase breakfast participation in school the most compared to the same time period as the year before.
The challenge was en effort to encourage students to start the day off right with a nutritious breakfast with dairy milk for better academic performance and overall health.
