Wheelchair-Bound Boy Shreds at Calif. Skatepark Thanks to Dad
Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, and by the look on this boy's face, his father certainly fits the bill.

SACRAMENTO, CA: His young body won’t allow him to do what many other kids his age can. However, that does not discourage this 8-year-old Sacramento boy with cerebral palsy who recently got the ride of his life, thanks to his dad.
Now, the YouTube video that captured the exhilarating moments as a dad pushed his son’s wheelchair around a local skatepark is getting a lot of attention and helping to raise awareness about the neurological disorder that affects muscle coordination.
Atticus Edmunds, who is wheelchair-bound, was all smiles as his dad raced up and down the ramps at the Sacramento park.

“Atti has cerebral palsy and doesn’t talk much,” a description for the touching video says. “This was his first day at the skate park and it broke him wide open.”
After the wild ride, Atticus proclaimed, “It was great! That was fantastic!”
