4th Annual Jump Start Your Heart 5k Walk/Run

The 4th Annual Jump Start Your Heart 5k Walk/Run will take place at Mission Bay Park on Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14, 2015. As in past years, 100% of event proceeds will be donated to The Children’s Heart Foundation, which directly funds research that advances the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects, the number one birth defect in the United States.

The Jump Start Your Heart 5k Walk/Run will be conveniently located in beautiful Mission Bay Park, starting and finishing near the Mission Bay Visitor Center. Participants have the option to utilize an official chip timer provided by Fusion Timing and awards will be given for the top racers.

For the first time, this year’s event will feature a hosted beer garden at the Start and Finish line. Guests 21+ with valid ID can enjoy music and local craft brews in the fenced off beer garden area from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Registration includes a T-shirt, custom cinch bag and Jump Start Your Heart socks and sunglasses.
