Pistachio is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet This Week

Pistachio is a 3-year-old, 10-pound, male, Domestic Medium Hair cat with a Brown and White Tabby Coat.

Pistachio got lost. A good Samaritan took him to a shelter. When nobody came to claim him, and that shelter needed space for new arrivals, Pistachio was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS).

While Pistachio is fine if you want to pet him, he's a shy guy who will probably never approach you asking for attention. He will need time to adjust in his new home. Pistachio will do best with a structured lifestyle and no surprises.

The $100 adoption fee for Pistachio includes medical exam, neuter, up to date vaccinations, and a registered microchip.

Rancho Coastal Humane Society is joining NBCUniversal Local's annual Clear The Shelters pet adoption and donation campaign August 1st through the 31st.

During the Clear the Shelters "adopt and donate" campaign adoption fees will be waived on all adult Dogs, Cats, and Rabbits at RCHS.
