Sheila is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet This Week

Sheila is a 6-year-old, 15-pound, female, Domestic Short Hair cat with a Brown Tabby coat.

Sheila was lost when someone picked her up and took her to a shelter. When nobody claimed her and that shelter needed space for new arrivals, Sheila was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS).

She will sniff your hand then start to purr. Sheila loves cheek pets and she will melt into them. When you stop petting her, she will come back for more. She's cautious, but once she's comfortable, Sheila loves to explore.

Sheila could live with kids 8 and older, and possibly with another cat.

The $100 adoption fee for Sheila includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, and registered microchip.

Rancho Coastal Humane Society is once again participating in NBCUniversal Local's annual Clear The Shelters pet adoption and donation campaign through Monday, August 31st.

During the Clear the Shelters "adopt and donate" campaign adoption fees are being waived on all adult Dogs, Cats, and Rabbits 6 months and older at RCHS.
