Padres Pitcher Mason Miller Inspires New Better Buzz Coffee Drink

ENCINITAS, CA — San Diego Padres pitcher Mason Miller has a new namesake drink at Better Buzz Coffee Roasters.

The San Diego-founded coffee company launched The Reaper's Aerocano, inspired by Miller's go-to coffee order. The drink features a double shot of espresso and ice aerated to create a smooth, coffee-forward beverage.

Miller, whose nickname is "The Reaper," helped celebrate the launch Friday, Sept. 18, with an appearance at Better Buzz's Encinitas location, where fans met the pitcher, took photos and sampled his signature order.

The Reaper's Aerocano is now available at all Better Buzz cafes.

Better Buzz also released special Mason Miller hats as part of the collaboration. The company said $5 from each hat sold will benefit Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe.
