• California owners of manufactured homes face $350 space-fee hikes, and say they have 'zero protection' (thecooldown.com) — Encinitas manufactured-home owners at Riviera Mobile Home Park in Leucadia are bracing for space-fee hikes of about $350 a month starting November 1 and are urging the Encinitas City Council to pause the increases. Residents say the uncapped fees threaten fixed-income neighbors, home values, and affordability, and want the city to consider a permanent annual limit similar to other California communities.
