Gayle Geffner - Astrological Markers of ADD/ADHD

According to the CDC, 11% of children between the ages of 6 through 17 have been diagnosed with either ADD or ADHD. Many of them receive treatment for their disorder, not all, however, do. It is very likely the statistics hold true for adults as well as children--though many adults may never have received a diagnosis. It is therefore quite likely there are more incidences of people having ADD or ADHD than have been diagnosed or identified and reported in the statistics.

Astrologer and author Gayle Geffner will introduce her work on the astrological markers of ADD/ADHD in her lecture for the San Diego Chapter of the NCGR (Aquarius Cafe) on September 20, 2014. She will introduce her latest book, released on August 14 this year: Astrological Markers of ADD/ADHD (published by ACS Publications, Epping, NH). She will share her insights into the charts and lives of both celebrities and clients she has worked with, people who live with ADD/ADHD. For the first time she will talk about the cutting edge astrological research she has done, and share her work showing a specific asteroid forming an aspect to certain planets can be found in the natal charts of people who have ADD/ADHD.

Gayle works with karmic conditions in the natal chart, and feels this topic is very relevant for today’s children. 11% is just a number, but this number means that the CDC calculates that in every classroom of 30 children, at least 3 will probably have ADD or ADHD. This number corresponds to adults as well, and the disorder will affect them all who have the disorder both on a personal level, and in the workplace. Gayle not only offers insight into the astrology of this disorder, she also offers helpful hints to cope as well.
