'Beyond King Tut' Exhibit Extends Run At Del Mar Fairgrounds
The immersive walk-thru chronicles the life and rule of Egypt's famous Boy King, unveiling a century of secrets.

DEL MAR, CA — Good news, Tut fans!
If you've yet to visit "Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience" in Del Mar — or wish to see it again — the exhibit's run was extended for an additional six weeks through May 7, according to organizers.
The exhibition, developed with the National Geographic Society to mark the 100-year anniversary of the tomb discovery, takes visitors through nine galleries on a journey to Egypt with such wonders of the ancient world as the Temple at Karnak and the Great Sphinx, alongside the life and rule of Egypt's famous Boy King and a century of secrets buried with the young monarch.

And for the remainder of the run, Beyond King Tut welcomes San Diego County sixth grade students to the exhibition for free when visiting with an adult with paid admission. Details here: Beyond King Tut 6th grade free ticket offer.
As part of the school curriculum, the San Diego County Office of Education has made it possible for more than 1,400 sixth-grade students to attend Beyond King Tut since its opening.

Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience is on display Sundays to Thursdays: 10am – 8pm and Fridays & Saturdays 10am – 9pm at Wyland Center at Del Mar Fairgrounds, 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd., Del Mar.
