Homeowner Protection Laws starting in January

This article in the San Diego Tribune clarifies new laws put into effect January 1st structured to make banks help consumers get through the foreclosure process easier with the possibility of modification.  The article states "California was a hard-hit area in the foreclosure crisis. More than 900,000 were recorded between 2007 and 2011. More than 61,000 were recorded in San Diego County during that timeframe."
