LCC 7 on 7 Flag League
An exciting flag football league created for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Meet the high school football players and have fun!
The field is designed for high school athletes but once a week during the spring, LCC opens its Football field to middle schoolers. The game? Flag football. The coaches? The student athletes and football players at LCC. The boys begin with what some kids called a combine. An hour draft intended to form teams from a pool of 80 kids. Once teams have been established the fight goes on. The coaches battle it out, competing for the tiltle of "I'm a winner". Some of the players have played pop warner for years and some have never touched a football. Blending the team's strengths and challenges becomes an art to the coaches. The boys are busy managing personalities, struggling through temporary setbacks, laughing at mistakes and most importantly inspiring the kids to do better. There is a bigger picture at work, and doubtful the young coaches understand the scope of their giving.

Who: 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Students
Where: La Costa Canyon High School Football Field
When: Saturdays from 2:30 pm until 4:30 pm
Dates: April 20 th, April 27 th, May 4 th, May 11 th, May 18 th
Coaches: LCC Football Players led by LCC Head Coach Sovacool
Why: Fun, Camaraderie, Experience Maverick Football, Gain Skills and
Knowledge!
Cost: $100 before April 14 th, $120 Late Registration
Includes: Tee Shirt and Unforgettable Experience!
April 20th evaluations
& late registration from 2:00 pm to 2:30pm on the LCC turf field
April 27th players
will find out which team they are on.
Parent Information Meeting April 20th, at the LCC field, 2:30 pm.
(Please Attend for information even if you have to come late.)
