Bro-Am Celebrates Music, Surfing & Community In Encinitas: PHOTOS

The Switchfoot​ Bro-Am​ took place June 30 at Moonlight Beach, featuring live music, surf contests and vendors raising funds for charities.

ENCINITAS, CA – The Bro-Am has become a summertime tradition in San Diego's North County, celebrating music, surfing and community. The 14th annual Bro-Am took place June 30 at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, featuring live music, surf contests and vendors raising funds for local youth programs.

The annual event event is presented by Grammy Award-winning and San Diego-based rock band Switchfoot. This year, the event featured performances by Switchfoot, as well as Colony House, Sure Sure and the winner of the 91X Battle for the Bro-Am contest.

The event and its Bro-Am Foundation raised funds for A Step Beyond, Challenged Athletes Foundation, Feeding San Diego, Rob Machado Foundation, StandUp for Kids and VH1 Save the Music.
