The Encinitas Historical Society offers this fun educational walking tour of downtown Encinitas on the 3rd Saturday of every month! Our tours begin at 10am, starting at the 1883 One-Room Schoolhouse, located at 390 West F Street. There is plenty of free parking available. On November 15th, we will concentrate on the south end of the historic Coast Highway. Next month, on December 20th, we will cover the north end of the Coast Highway. This alternating of the route ensures that we can cover the distance in a slower, leisurely, and more personal fashion.
The Encinitas Historical Society has implemented a suggested donation of $10 per person. We are an all-volunteer organization with tax exempt status, and we accept cash, checks, or credit/debit cards. Children and dogs are always free!
