The Encinitas Youth Commission is hosting a free Financial Literacy event this Sunday, April 26 from 1:00–2:30PM at the City of Encinitas Library (540 Cornish Dr.), designed to give teens the real-world money skills they don't always learn in school.
Three local speakers will cover banking, credit and debt, goal setting, budgeting and saving, and young adult financial decisions — including college costs, student loans, and how to avoid common financial mistakes. Interactive Q&A sessions are included.
Parents are welcome. Walk-ins are accepted, or register in advance at encinitasparksandrec.com using Course Code: 18330. For more info call (760) 943-2250
