A Cat Named Sue is Pet of The Week at Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society

Johnny Cash did not sing about her.

A cat named Sue is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 1 year old, 5 pound, Domestic Short Hair cat with a Red Tabby coat.

Sue is a tiny girl. Five pounds isn’t very big. She’s still young but she probably won’t get much bigger.

Maybe the fact that she’s so small is why Sue loves to snuggle so much. It makes her feel safe, secure, and warm.

When there’s nobody to snuggle with, Sue will lie on her back and stretch her paws out as far as she can or curl into a tight ball on her cat bed.

In her new home she might like to have some gentle children that she can play with, but Sue will want to be the only cat in the house.

She was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another shelter through the FOCAS program.

The $100 adoption fee for Sue includes medical exam, vaccinations, spay, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org.
