Coastal Roots Farm To Launch 2026 Film, Music Series In Encinitas

Proceeds from ticket sales will support the farm's educational and community programs.

ENCINITAS, CA — Coastal Roots Farm will kick off its 2026 Farm Film and Music Series on Thursday, bringing documentary screenings, live music and panel discussions to the Encinitas community farm and education center through September.

The four-part series will be held on the fourth Thursday of each month, with events scheduled for June 25, July 23, Aug. 27 and Sept. 24 at the farm.

The opening event, scheduled from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., will feature "Groundswell," an award-winning documentary that explores regenerative agriculture and efforts to address climate change. The evening also will include live music, opportunities to meet local organizations, and a panel discussion.

According to Coastal Roots Farm, the series will focus on equitable food systems, environmental justice and sustainability. Proceeds from ticket sales will support the farm's educational and community programs.

Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs, food and drinks. Pets are not allowed.

Coastal Roots Farm is located at 441 Saxony Road in Encinitas. Tickets are $12 in advance and $18 at the door.
